Hi my daughter is allergic to peanuts, so far no other nuts just those dreaded peanuts. Just making sure that your product doesn’t contain peanuts and have you had anyone else with a nut allergy use your product? I am desperately seeking a treatment that works.

Tracey August 10, 2011 at 12:43 pm

Dear Renee
100% Natural Headlice Blitzer has Macademia Nut Oil as a base. I do not have any traces of peanut in my products. It is always best to test any product on your skin to make sure there is no allergic reaction. Whilst there is no cross-reactivity with peanuts and macademia nuts, I would be cautious using 100% Natural Headlice Blitzer if your child has a peanut allergy. You can however, safely use 100% Natural Headlice Beater, our preventative spray that is based in Purified water and pure essential oils only. When using 100% Natural Headlice Beater – your child will never get headlice as the headlice repel the pure essential oils. The oils paralyse lice nervous system, so they starve and die. Trace
